My name is LaToya Anderson. I am NCC operating in Philadelphia, PA. As a Mental Health Therapist, I strive to improve and maintain the mental health of my clients. Through a person-centered point of view, I focus on building my client's strengths, helping to develop a sense of empowerment, and promoting healthy mental well-being. Building a therapeutic relationship with my clients allows for clients to discover what they are feeling consciously and subconsciously.

I obtained my B.S in Health Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University) in 2011 as well as my M.S. in Community and Trauma Counseling in 2015. The CTC program at Thomas Jefferson is one of the first in the US. I was extremely happy and excited to be a part of its first Cohort!

As a trauma-focused, with PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, grief and loss, chronic illness, and stress stress-related diagnoses. Through mindfulness techniques, such as meditation and physical movement, I help clients develop positive coping skills to heal through traumatic events. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults in individual, couple, and family therapeutic settings.

I am a Certified Yoga Teacher. I completed my 250-hr yoga certification at Yoga Life Institute in Wayne, PA. Using breathing and concentration techniques, I guide those who seek mental clarity and relaxation. Practicing Yoga and Meditation regularly can help improve your strength, flexibility, balance, and overall mental health.
